We are pleased to offer this 132+ year old ORIGINAL Harper's Weekly cover, The Streets of New York - A Tragic Story - Drawn by Sol Eytinge, Jun.  Published October 11, 1879, this is a poignant woodcut engraving depicting the tragic condition of children on the streets of New York.  Print size is 11" x 16" (HW00052)

Condition:

Very Good  - no soiling, tears, creasing or foxing. Very light toning to the exterior border. Note that this is the cover only, not the complete weekly newspaper.

Shipping and Handling

We take great pride in our packaging and shipping at Pages from the Past.  All purchases are carefully placed in archival plastic sleeves and shipped in stiff photo mailers.  We use the United States Postal Service 1st class shipping with delivery confirmation for all of our mail.

Shipping for our vintage articles and prints is a flat rate of $5.00. This covers the cost of mail plus the supplies needed to ship our packages safely.  We strive to keep our shipping costs as low as possible.

Most of our packages ship within 1 day of purchase.  Many times we ship the same day if we receive an order early enough in the day.  National holidays will delay shipping a couple of days.
